Xantha Bruso is a Senior Climate Protection Specialist at PG&E, where she develops and implements climate change policy, quantifies and reports PG&E's GHG emissions, consults on reporting and project protocols, and evaluates emissions reduction and renewable energy projects. In previous positions at PG&E, she worked to commercialize emerging renewable energy technologies and to administer the California Solar Initiative.
Prior to enrolling in Presidio, Xantha was a Mediator at an environmental conflict resolution firm, Concur, where she conducted agreement-focused facilitation, policy analysis, and strategic planning on natural resource and development issues. Xantha earned her BA in Geography and Asian Studies from Dartmouth College and her Master of City Planning degree from MIT. Xantha attended Presidio to learn how to more effectively make the business case for corporate action to reduce GHGs.
